Tyronia Fowler, daughter of online personality Toni Fowler, became emotional as she spoke about the ongoing issue involving her mother and fellow content creator Jelai Andres.
In a Facebook Live posted on Sept. 1, Tyronia appealed to Jelai and expressed her distress over being dragged into the renewed controversy surrounding her mother.
The issue resurfaced after past incidents involving Toni, Jelai, and Jon Gutierrez, also known as King Badger, were brought up online. Toni had previously been linked to Gutierrez while he was in a relationship with Jelai, with the controversy dating back several years.
Amid the renewed discussions, Tyronia said she has been receiving criticism from netizens despite having nothing to do with the issue.
“Ano pa ba ang gusto n’yo, Tita Jelai? Wala na po kaming ginagawa. Ayoko po ng ganito,” Tyronia said during the livestream.
She also claimed that Toni had previously turned down several brand opportunities out of respect for Jelai, although she did not provide further details about the brands or incidents she was referring to.
“Every time na name-mention ka, palagi silang sorry, palaging sorry si Mommy sa ‘yo. Sinasabi niyang past na ’yun,” she said.
Tyronia then became more emotional as she appealed to Jelai to consider the impact of the backlash on her and her family.
“Tina-try ko naman pong maging strong pero bakit ganyan? Tita Jelai, hindi man lang po ba kayo magso-sorry sa akin? Kahit magkaroon man lang kayo ng puso para gawin ’yun?” she said.
She also defended her mother against accusations that Toni had been a mistress, saying that she wanted people to look back at the circumstances surrounding the controversy.
“Gusto ko lang pong sabihin, Tita Jelai, hindi po si Mommy, hindi niya po sinira ’yung kasal niyo or kahit anong meron kayo. Never naging mistress ang mommy ko,” Tyronia said.
She emphasized that the controversy happened years ago and that she was not involved in the events being discussed.
“Hindi ko na kasi kayo maintindihan. Nasasaktan din po ako. May mental health din po ako. In the first place, wala naman po akong ginawa sa inyo,” she added.
Tyronia also appealed to her biological father, Tatay Elon, to stand up for her amid the backlash.
“Kay Tatay Elon, iparamdam mo naman na iniisip mo ’ko. Ipagtanggol mo naman ’yung panganay mo. Ipagtanggol mo naman ako, Tatay, kahit ngayon lang. Ako naman,” she said.
According to Tyronia, the controversy has also caused tension between her parents, saying that Toni and her father have been frequently arguing because of the situation.
“Si Mommy at si Daddy palagi na silang nag-aaway. Dahil lang sa nangyari, palagi silang nag-aaway dito,” she shared.
She likewise expressed concern for her one-year-old sibling, Love, who she said has also been affected by the comments circulating online.
“Si Love, ’yung kapatid ko, isipin niyo one year old pa lang ’yun pero grabe na ’yung mga sinasabi sa kanya,” Tyronia said.
“Ako po tinatry ko po kayanin pero grabe na po kayo. Bakit niyo po pinapabayaan, Tita Jelai?” she added.
Following the livestream, it appears that some of Toni and Tyronia’s social media accounts have been deactivated. Meanwhile, Jelai has yet to publicly respond to Tyronia’s statements, as of writing.
