Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, known as DongYan, have dismissed rumors linking them to a blind item about a “power couple” allegedly facing marital problems.
The rumors began after a blind item spread on Facebook, alleging that an unnamed celebrity pair was dealing with marital woes caused by the husband’s infidelity. Netizens quickly guessed that the item referred to Dingdong and Marian, given their “power couple” status.
Marian addressed the speculation through entertainment columnist Rose Garcia, who reached out to the actress.
“Ni-message ko si Yan. Sabi ko, ‘I’m sure aware ka sa blind item kung saan sa comments section kayong dalawa ni Dong ang binabanggit,’” Garcia said on the online show Marites University.
According to Garcia, Marian even called her and laughed it off, noting, “Ate, jusme. Ano ba ‘yang mga blind item na ‘yan? Parang sanay na sila kasi parang every year, lalo na raw ‘pag January, palaging may ganyang chika.”
The couple also shared recent snaps of themselves spending quality time together, including working out and attending their son Sixto’s football practice.
Dingdong even posted a playful photo of the two making “pouty” faces, captioning it: “Day two ng kaniyang workout for 2026 – at fresh pa rin. Marian Rivera.”
Dingdong and Marian, who also share daughter Zia, recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary last December 30.
