Content creator reacts to viral nip slip during SEA Games livestream: ‘Hindi ko intensyon makitaan’

A Filipino digital creator whose wardrobe malfunction was caught on camera during a livestream of the ongoing 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games has spoken up about the incident.

A clip from the livestream of the Philippines’ Alas Pilipinas match against Indonesia in the men’s indoor volleyball competition went viral after a female spectator was unintentionally exposed on camera in two separate moments.

One TikTok upload has amassed 2.7 million views on the platform, while another footage gained more than 900,000 views.

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the woman, later identified as Filipina digital creator Jasmine Arancillo, addressed the incident through a series of Facebook posts.

While her initial reaction was lighthearted, responding to netizens’ shock with humor and even calling herself the “cameraman’s favorite”, Arancillo offered a more detailed explanation, saying that it was not her intention to expose herself in public.

Jasmine clarified that she had been wearing a nipple pad, which became dislodged during the game. This was further supported by an accompanying photo of her wearing the same outfit from one of the incidents.

“May nipple pad po talaga ako natanggal lang. Kumapit sa loob ng top ko. Hindi ko intensyon na makitaan ako ng dibdib sa live ng Mens’ Volleyball. Hindi ko kasalanan kung maalog talaga ang [dibdib] ko habang tuwang tuwa akong nag-chicheer para sa Alas Pilipinas. Hindi makapit ang nipple pad,” she stated.
