The highly-anticipated fan meeting of South Korean actor Lee Jong Suk in Manila has been canceled, organizers announced just weeks before its scheduled date.
Events promoter Wilbros Live confirmed that the 2025 Lee Jong Suk Asia Fanmeeting Tour, “With: Just Like This,” set to take place at the Araneta Coliseum, will no longer push through “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
“We regret to inform you that the 2025 Lee Jong Suk Asia Fanmeeting Tour, ‘With: Just Like This’, in Manila scheduled on November 30, 2025 at the Araneta Coliseum has unfortunately been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances,” the statement read.
Wilbros Live cited a scheduled rally on the same date prompted the decision after careful consideration primarily for the safety of the fans, the artist and all related teams.
“We sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been looking forward to this fan meeting and to any inconvenience caused by this. We sincerely hope Lee Jong Suk can meet his fans in the Philippines again in the near future,” it added.
The organizers also released refund guidelines: Credit and debit card ticket purchases will be automatically refunded by TicketNet to the original payment method within 15–30 banking days. Fans who paid in cash may claim refunds at the TicketNet Box Office at Araneta Coliseum from December 15 to 21, 2025.
The rally in question is expected to be the second major anti-corruption protest following the “Trillion Peso March,” a mass movement held last September 21 at the EDSA Shrine and Luneta Park.
The previous protest, joined by thousands of citizens and public figures, called for accountability over alleged corruption in government infrastructure projects.
Since October 10, organizers of the Trillion Peso March have held weekly Friday protests, leading up to another nationwide rally scheduled for November 30, and prompting heightened safety and security preparations across Metro Manila.
