Derek Ramsay has put to rest the circulating rumors about his and wife Ellen Adarna’s marital status.
The actor briefly addressed speculations fueled by a blind item posted by controversial social media personality Xian Gaza.
“Good morning guys so there’s this issue about this Mr. Xian Gaza. I’ll just keep this very simple: there’s no truth to anything that was said. That’s it. That’s all I have,” Derek clarified in an Instagram Story on Monday.
Xian earlier posted a blind item about “billionaire peso guy” and “famous celebrity girl’s” supposed separation.
“Eh paano ngayon ‘to? Kasal sila. Walang divorce sa Pilipinas. Eh peso billionaire si celebrity guy. May prenup bang pinirmahan si super famous celebrity girl? O waley? So meaning to say, may habol siya sa bilyones ni guy? Tapos yung anak nila, may habol din sa yaman ng kanyang ama? Under the guardianship ni girl? Is this the masterplan from the start? Nautakan ba siya ni babae?” read Xian’s Facebook post.
He also dropped hints in the comment section of his post, referring to the initials JL, and referencing the characters from the hit romantic-drama film One More Chance, where Derek portrayed Mark.
“Si JL hindi niya pinakasalan kasi wala siyang mapapala. Ang makukuha lang niya ay kalahati ng lupa sa paso at limang banig ng Biogesic. “Pero etong isa, pinakasalan niya agad-agad after a few months of relationship. Pinagplanuhan. Mautak,” wrote Xian, which netizens decoded as Ellen’s ex-partner John Lloyd Cruz.
“Very good Baby Mama kasi hindi niya pine-pressure si Popoy magsustento sa bata eh malamang sa alamang wala ka namang mapipiga diyan kaya gamitin mo na lang pampaganda ng image mo para mapagtakpan yung masama mong plano grabe ka saludo ako sayo Mamshie napakahusay mo.
“Kung hindi mo sinalo si Basha mula sa breakup nila ni Popoy, hindi ka sana mapapahamak ng ganito, Mark. Bakit ka nagpauto? Pag-ibig nga naman,” added Xian.
Meanwhile, Ellen also took a jab at the blind item after posting videos on her Instagram Story.
“Billions, oh god, billions. Ang anino ng billions na nakikita ko ay sa flood control lang,” she added in jest.
She also seemed to defend her ex-partner John Lloyd, who’s a known endorser of the paracetamol brand.
“Pa biogesic nga sakit sa ulo loooll,” said Ellen as she mentioned some of the country’s richest.
“Wag mo ismolin si Biogesic just because simple lang siya. Ikaw you don’t know, but ang assets nun, I know. You know.
“And kung maki-Marites naman lang, at least get everything right, everything,” she added.
