Dennis Trillo came to the defense of wife Jennylyn Mercado’s son, Alex Jazz, from online criticism.
Jennylyn recently shared a video of her bonding with her son, Alex Jazz and Dennis’ son Calix, enjoying a day out and shopping together.
Alex is Jennylyn’s son with ex Patrick Garcia.
“Spending the day with my boys, discovering wonders and picking up some cool stuff at the National Geographic store,” Jennylyn captioned the post.
While many fans were delighted with the heartwarming family clip, a few netizens left insensitive remarks, including speculations about Alex’s behavior.
One comment read, “parang may autism anak ni Jen,” prompting a firm response from Jennylyn’s husband Dennis: “May problema po ba kayo sa may autism?”
Another comment criticized the child’s demeanor, saying “parang malamya,” to which Dennis fired back: “Wow, hiyang hiya naman ako sa pagmumukha mo.”
Fans of the couple were quick to back them up, calling out the harsh comments online. Many commended Dennis for standing up for his family and reminded others about the importance of kindness and acceptance.
