In honor of this year’s Philippine Independence Day, TBA Studios is bringing back its award-winning historical films, “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral”, for special theatrical re-runs starting June 12, 2025.
The screenings will mark a patriotic celebration and serve as a cinematic refresher for fans of the”Bayaniverse” ahead of the highly anticipated release of “Quezon”, the final installment in the historical film trilogy by director Jerrold Tarog.
Originally released in 2015 and 2018, Heneral Luna and Goyo chronicle the stories of heroic generals Antonio Luna and Gregorio del Pilar, respectively, which both earned critical praise and commercial success for bringing Philippine history to life with unflinching honesty and cinematic excellence.
