Gutierrez family matriarch, Annabelle Rama, delivered a lighthearted tribute to her late daughter-in-law Alexandra Uichico.

In a video posted by Alexandra’s relative, Patricia Uichico, Rama can be seen engaging with a lively crowd while delivering a eulogy during the wake of the late wife of her son, Elvis Gutierrez.

“Tita A’s love for Alexa showed how kind and caring she was as a Wife, Mom and an In-Law. Her eulogy speech lightened our night, it made us remember how fun and sweet Alexa was. Alexa and Tita A were both blessed to have each other even just for a short period of time,” Patricia wrote in her post.

“Bakit love ni Tita Annabelle si Alexa?,” the caption read before the clip began.

In a part of her speech, Annabelle revealed the reason why there were no fights between her and Alexa, maintaining their relationship as in-laws harmonious and free of conflict.

“Kaya magkasundo kami ni Alexa, hindi kami nag-aaway, bakit? Pag nasa bahay kami, English siya ng English sakin, yes lang ako ng yes sa kanya,” the celebrity mom recalled, earning laughs from the attendees.

“Pag nagmumura na ako, ‘Tita, that’s bad.’ Mabait si Alexa. Mabait,” Rama described her late daughter-in-law.

Annabelle also jokingly pointed out her similarities with Alexa saying, “Nakikita ko ang sarili ko sa kanya,” making people erupt in laughter.

She went on to add, “Unang-una, mahal na mahal niya si Elvis. Nung nanganak na siya, ako ang nag-alaga sa mga bata kasi ayoko siyang mapagod.”

Annabelle concluded her eulogy by expressing her love for Alexa and assuring that she will take good care of her children as grandparents alongside her husband, Eddie Gutierrez.

The Gutierrez clan announced Alexandra’s death on their Instagram accounts, revealing that she had succumbed to her ailment after battling leukemia for six months.
