Following gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s historic double gold victory for the Philippines in the men’s artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics, companies, brands, and the government have showered him with numerous rewards, deals, and promotions.
Even before his win, some rewards had already been announced, likely serving as extra motivation for the athletes.
CASH
The gymnastics pride received P20 million from President Marcos, another P20 million as mandated by Republic Act 10699, P20 million from PAGCOR, P8 million from the House of Representatives, P5 million from ArenaPlus, P3 million cash from Megaworld, P3 million from Bounty Fresh, P2 million from the local government of Manila, P5 million from Chavit Singson, and an undisclosed amount from Manny Pacquiao.
PROPERTIES
One of the most luxurious rewards Yulo received is a fully furnished three-bedroom condo unit in McKinley Hill, Bonifacio Global City, valued at P32 million, from Megaworld Corporation.
Complementing this condominium, Yulo will also receive 100 thousand pesos worth of furniture from Apollo Home Depot.
The gymnast champ will also be given a house and lot in Nasugbu, Batangas by Century Properties Group, and another house and lot in Tagaytay from Philippine Sports Commission president Bambol Tolentino.
Several food establishments have also announced Yulo’s lifetime free food. He will enjoy a lifetime free buffet from Vikings Luxury Buffet and lifetime free food and drinks from all Tipsy Pig branches nationwide.
He also gets a lifetime free pizza from PizzaHut, lifetime free ice cream from Dairy Queen, lifetime free buffet from Vikings, lifetime ambulance transport from Lifeline, lifetime PM2 from Mang Inasal, lifetime pares from Diwata Pare, lifetime unlimited free visa from Fil-Global Immigration Services.

He will also have lifetime free meals from JT’s Kalayaan, an unlimited supply of Bok Fried Chicken, lifetime free Bacsilog from BastaMura Bacsilog, and lifetime free ramen from Hagame Sushi and Ramen Bar.
Moonstar88, the Filipino rock band behind hits “Torete” and “Migraine” also offered a free wedding performance for Yulo.

Carlos, along with other fellow Filipino Olympians received a heroes’ welcome parade on Wednesday, August 13 following their historic campaign at the Paris Olympics 2024. Philippines ranked at 37th spot after bringing home two golds from Yulo and two bronze medals from boxers Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio.
