Kapuso hunk actor David Licauco’s answer during an episode of GMA’s game show Family Feud went viral online after he mentioned the name of a popular adult actress, Maria Ozawa.
In the Monday episode of Family Feud, hosted by Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes, David, together with his love team partner, Barbie Forteza played against each other with their teams.
David’s team consisted of his friends and classmates, including his best friend, fellow Kapuso actor Dustin Yu. Meanwhile, Team Barbie was led by Barbie, along with her father Tony, and her makeup artist-stylist.
In the third round, Dingdong’s survey question read: “Fill in the blank, Maria…”
“Maria Clara”, the same title as Barbie and David’s hit time travel series, has already been given by one of the actor’s teammates, which was the top answer of the round.
When it was David’s turn to answer, he quickly replied, “Ozawa”, referring to Maria Ozawa, a businesswoman and Japanese actress known for her past work in adult films.
Fellow contestants and the studio audience were immediately left amused by David who seemingly got shy after his turn.
In the end, David’s team emerged victorious, taking home the PhP200,000 jackpot prize from the game show.
On Family Feud’s recent upload on its TikTok page, netizens flooded the clip of David’s answer with suggestive comments, making it a trend online. The video has now exceeded two million views on the platform as of writing.

He was also criticized for not thinking of other Marias like Maria Makiling, Maria Magdalena, Maria Sinukuan, Maria Mercedes, and so on, which David took the time to clarify.
“Di man lang naisip ‘yung Maria Clara,” a TikTok user commented.
To this, David personally replied, “Nasabi na kasi ?”
The video eventually reached Maria Ozawa herself. In her Instagram story, Ozawa reposted David’s video, expressing her reaction with laughing and heart emojis.
“He’s so cute,” read the caption in the IG story.
The hashtag “Maria Ozawa” also trended on X due to the suggestive remarks and reactions from netizens.
