OPM band Ben&Ben is set to hold another concert to raise funds for balik-eskwela initiatives.
The hour-long online concert featuring the nine-piece group’s hit songs aims to help students and teachers adapt to the new normal.
The funds will be used to acquire school supplies needed for e-learning and care packages with personal protective equipment (PPEs) and vitamins for teachers and staff who will be distributing the supplies.
In the event’s website, the group encouraged the public to donate to their heart’s content. With only P300, they will be able to provide a basic learning kit with printed modules, an expandable envelope, pencil, sharpener and eraser.
Puhon 2: A Ben&Ben Online Concert for Balik-Eskewela Initiatives will be streamed on the band’s Facebook page and YouTube channel this Sunday, October 4.
Last March, they held their first Puhon show to raise money to purchase PPEs and nutrition support for health workers, COVID-19 testing kits and relief goods for daily wage workers.
