Xian Lim couldn’t help but turn emotional when he updated his social media followers on his maternal grandmother’s health condition.
In a video on his Instagram page, the actor said his Lola Leonie will have an operation to treat her breast cancer.
“So today’s a different type of day. We are bringing my lola to the hospital. I think the procedure is called a mastectomy where they have to remove, I guess, her left or right breast because they found cancer,” he said.
The Love Thy Woman star explained that he is making his short video to remind his followers to enjoy their moments with their loved ones.
“I don’t know why I’m making this video. I guess it’s more for people to take a moment and enjoy the moments you have with family and friends,” he said.
“If you have a moment of your time right now, just go to your mom, dad or grandpa, your lola and just say I love you to them,” Xian added.
He then assured that while his lola is still around, there are still some uncertainties and uncontrollable moments.
“My grandma’s okay, this is not a farewell video. I just wanted to share a little something,” he said.
His friends from the industry responded to his post to wish his grandmother well.
In another post, he shared the moments before his lola left for the hospital.
“Get well soon mama,” he wrote.
