Angel Locsin showed support for her home network as members of the House of Representatives are expected to decide on whether to grant a fresh 25-year franchise to ABS-CBN today.
The Kapamilya actress on Friday shared a photo of her holding a placard with the words “give us a chance to be better” inside her car in time for the motorcade or solidarity caravan to appeal for the embattled network’s franchise renewal.
“Please say yes,” she wrote in the caption.
She also shared via an Instagram story a snap of the ongoing activity.
The House of Representatives on Thursday held a summation of the issues surrounding the ABS-CBN franchise bill before they vote on the network’s fate.
Magandang Buhay hosts Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros and other employees have earlier joined the motorcade to urge lawmakers to vote “yes” for the broadcast giant’s legislative franchise.
