Dimples Romana is one proud mom as she shared her 17-year-old daughter Callie’s achievement of starting her own business.
The 36-year-old actress posted a clip of her Callie’s feature from TV Patrol that talked about her selling rattan and abaca bags to promote the work of local craftsmen.
In an Instagram post, Dimples praised her daughter for following in her footsteps as an entrepreneur.
“Saksi po kayo sa maraming taon ng pagtratrabaho at pagsusumikap naming mag asawa @papaboyetonline, at tunay na walang makakapantay sa galak at pagka proud namin bilang magulang kapag mapakinggan mong magsalita at magmalasakit sa komunidad ang ang negosyo tinayo ng ating dating mga mumusmos lang naming mga anak,” she wrote.
She then addressed her Callie, expressing how she felt that as a parent, they have already done their job with their eldest daughter.
The budding entrepreneur launched her Instagram shop, @calthebrand on December 19, 2020. As of writing, she is already selling three locally-made rattan bags.
Dimples herself is launching another business. Recently, she revealed that she and husband Boyet Ahmee will venture into the food industry outside the Philippines, opening a post restaurant in Singapore with other business partners.
“Never in our wildest dreams did we ever imagine @boyetahmee and I will have a business venture outside of the Philippines and a posh restaurant in Singapore at that ??? @alegriasgp is now on construction phase and will hopefully open end of first quarter of 2021!” she shared.
