Kim Chiu made sure to end the year right with a relief operation for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses. She gave out food for 1,500 people and food packages for 800 families.
The actress shared online that she hopes the typhoon victims will be able to have their media noche with her donations.
“The other day, I visited one of the many places that have been hit massively by the typhoon Ulysses. It’s a 3 hours drive, but right when we get there, seeing those beautiful smiles is very precious.
“Gave out food packages for 800 families and food for 1500 people! May not be much, but Kahit papano magkakaroon sila ng pang media noche,” she wrote.
In her Instagram post, she included photos of those who were able to receive food packs from her.
Kim then shared that the world will become its old self again if everyone practices kindness to one another.
“Give joy, love, and peace. The world will become its old self again. Let’s all be a blessing to one another. Happy end of 2020, everyone,” she ended.
