Queen of Pop Madonna said she had the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) when she was on tour in Paris seven weeks ago.
She, however, clarified to her 15 million followers on Instagram that she is no longer sick.
“When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over seven weeks ago,” she said.
The iconic pop star played a show at the Grand Rex last February 22. She then called off the following shows due to “ongoing injuries.”
“We all thought we had a very bad flu,” she said.
The 65-year-old pop icon, along with various world leaders, helped raise more than $8 billion for COVID-19 research.
“I’m grateful that I can be a part of supporting Research to Find the cure for COVID-19,” she shared.
Since the start of her self-quarantine, Madonna has been posting “quarantine diaries” videos that highlight her thoughts as she stays indoors.
