Kapamilya star Liza Soberano has postponed the launch of her own YouTube channel following the non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise to operate its free TV and radio broadcasting arm on Friday.
The 22-year-old actress on Thursday told her fans and followers to watch out for her “little surprise” which was supposedly the premiere of her YouTube channel “Life with Liza” today, at 6 p.m.
In an Instagram story on Saturday, Liza announced that she is temporarily putting off the release of her first vlog in light of what happened to her home network on Friday.
“I have decided to postpone the launch of my YouTube channel. I would like to take the time to grieve with my fellow Kapamilya and reflect on the recent happenings. Thank you for being patient and understanding. God bless,” she said.
Following the Congress’ decision to deny ABS-CBN’s bid for a fresh franchise, Liza has been sending out her thanks and apologies to her fans and supporters at the unfortunate news.
