On Friday, Queen of Talk Kris Aquino opened up on wanting to settle in the province rather than in the city.
“Whenever his Lola Cory would go to the Aquino Center in Tarlac, kasama si Josh… I perfectly understand why this is his happiest place because napaka SPECIAL ng bond nila ng lola nya… gusto talaga ni kuya josh ang buhay probinsya,” she said, recalling her eldest son’s trips with the late President Cory Aquino.
Kris explained that she allowed Josh to stay in Tarlac so he could jog every day to lose the tummy weight he has gained during the lockdown.
While she and her youngest son, Bimby, are staying in Pradera Verde in Pampanga with her friends.
“I never imagined that I would reach a point in my life when my heart would feel peaceful and my health would benefit so much away from the city,” she opened up.
She said she is the least likely person who would be advocating for a move to the province since she has always loved the energy of big cities.
“The least likely person who would be advocating #balikprobinsya (in my case mas accurate ang #lipatsaprobinsya) because she’s always loved the vibrant energy of big cities, is seriously contemplating it now,” said Kris, who spent the entire COVID-19 lockdown with her children in Puerto Galera in the province of Oriental Mindoro.
“I’ll do anything & everything for the happiness and wellbeing of my sons, and that starts with prioritizing my wellness,” she ended.
Kris made headlines recently when she announced that she will be giving away eight 2-in-1 laptops to support students who will be transitioning to online school.
She explained that this is an investment to the future of the Philippines.
“Para ito sa kinabukasan ng ating mga anak- helping their EDUCATION,” she said.
