Kim Chiu has finally reached the day she has been praying for.
On social media, the actress proudly shared that she can now protect her friends, family and loved ones now that she’s fully vaccinated.
In her post, Kim used the hashtag #Sinovac to indicate that she received the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.
The 31-year-old shared that before she got her vaccine, she tried her best to stay healthy with different exercises to keep her lungs strong.
“Seeing the covid19 videos last year scared me, so many ‘what ifs’ on my mind. I made myself physically active by doing different workout to help my lungs get stronger mas matindi pa workout now than my marathon training before,” she revealed.
Kim also shared the side effects she had after receiving the vaccine.
“The side effect for me is I am just always hungry for five days, 5-6 meals instead of 2 meals a day, then that’s it,” she shared.
According to the Department of Health, adverse events after immunization such as headache, rashes and increased blood pressure are common.
Kim then encouraged her followers to get their vaccines as well when it’s their turn already.
“Let’s all get vaccinated to reach herd immunity,” she said.
