A woman went viral after allegedly causing a ruckus over being reprimanded and prohibited from entering a supermarket in Bangkal, Davao City because she didn’t wear a face mask and face shield.
Local government units have implemented the “no face mask, no face shield, no entry policy” in commercial establishments as a precautionary measure against the further spread of COVID-19. Customers who will not abide by this health protocol are to be denied entry.
However, as reported by Brigada News Davao, this businesswoman who was identified as Vivian Sia Sun, 48, got “enraged” after she wasn’t allowed by the establishment’s security personnel and tourist police to enter the premises due to not observing the minimum health protocols.
Netizen Manche Obas Marquez on Facebook shared footage of Sun’s “confrontation” with the police and security guards.
The report added that Sun allegedly punched a police officer in his chest and arms, and hit him with paper.
When she was being brought to the police precinct, Sun reportedly continued to have a heated argument with Station Commander Major Sean Logronio, complaining of harassment.
In one of Marquez’s videos, she said she had no problem with security personnel doing their jobs but her reaction was because they were supposedly pushing and shoving her around.

Sun: “Sinasabihan na kitang magpapasuyo ako, hindi ka pumapayag.”
Guard: “Walang problema kung bibili Ma’am. Walang problema kung bibili ka…”
Sun: “‘Wag kang manulak. Ba’t mo ako laging tinutulak!? O nakikisuyo na nga.”
Guard: “Oh sinusuntok mo na ako.”
Sun: “Tar*nt*do ka!”
Sun: “Bakit nanunulak ka?”
Police: “Saglit lang. Saglit…”
Sun: “‘Di mo ako papaalisin?… Ba’t ka nanunulak?
Guard: “Relax lang Ma’am… Magpahinga ka lang dito…”
Sun: “Wag kang nanghahawak. Don’t touch me! ‘Wag mo akong hinahawakan. Tar*nt*do ka, nakakasakit kana sa’kin! ‘Wag mong hawakan yung kamay ko.”
Sun: “Exactly! “‘Wag ang pamilya ko dahil merong okasyon. Natural! dahil pamilyado ako. Ikaw, may pamilya ka? …’Yun pala…”
Sun: “Tumigil ka d’yan!”
Sun: “Natural kasi tinulak-tulak kasi nila ako.”
Police: “Ba’t nagsisigaw ka?”
Sun: “Natural kasi galit ako sa tao mo!”
According to the local media, she is facing multiple cases, including R.A. 11332 or Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act, Direct Assault and Alarm and Scandals including Executive Order 55 in Davao City.
