Sweet dreams are made of steak!
On TV host Mariel Padilla’s YouTube vlog last Sunday, she revealed one of her dreams was finally coming true.
“Everyone dreams of something… big or small it is still a DREAM!!! I got mine!” she said, teasing her video on an Instagram post.
Netizens flocked to the comments section of the post to guess what the star was hinting on.
To the viewers’ surprise, they found out that Mariel’s dream was to finally eat meat — a steak!
Under husband and actor Robin Padilla’s request, their daughter Isabella’s diet should only consist of fish and vegetables. In support of her pescatarian daughter, Mariel has laid off red meat and poultry as well.
Mariel, pregnant with her second baby with Robin, was advised to increase her intake of protein for their baby girl.
The next clips in her video showed an enthusiastic Mariel, while narrating her dreams of pandesal and corned beef.
“Everyday kong pinapaginipan na kumakain ako ng meat. Nung other time pinaginipan ko na pinakain daw ako ng pandesal and corned beef ni Robin,” she said.
The couple ate at a steakhouse in Bonifacio Global City where they both ordered well-done steaks topped with foie gras.
