Bianca De Vera and Dustin Yu, fondly known as “DustBia”, opened up about the current status of their relationship after rising to popularity as a fan-favorite pairing from Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
The duo sparked kilig during their guest appearance on the Kapuso morning show Unang Hirit on Wednesday, July 2, where they were asked about the real score between them.
To this, Bianca replied, “Wala namang nagbago, mag-duo pa rin kami dito sa labas.”
She then added, “We’re starting over again. We’re getting to know each other again outside of the house. Much more comfortable.”
In a separate interview with GMA News Online, Dustin shared that he’s committed to maintaining his strong bond with Bianca now that they’re outside the house.
He described their connection as a “genuine friendship” built on a “strong foundation”, adding that there’s no reason not to continue it beyond the reality show.
“Naka-build na kami ng strong foundation sa loob. At grabe yung friendship na mayroon kami sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya,” the Sparkle star said. “So, for me, wala akong makitang rason kung bakit hindi namin yun dapat ituloy sa labas.”
“First, genuine friendship siya. Second, we’re both happy. I’m happy na naka-build kami ng gano’ng foundation,” added Yu.
When asked about possible projects together, Bianca and Dustin didn’t give specific details but shared their eagerness for upcoming opportunities.
“We’ll see. We’re very, very excited about what’s in store for the both of us,” teased Bianca.
DustBia was the last duo to be evicted from PBB after losing to Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa) in the Big Jump Challenge.
The final four duos competing for the show’s highly anticipated Big Night on July 5 are BreKa, Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (ChaRes), Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon (RaWi), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer).
