Harvey Bautista has had enough of the hate being thrown at his girlfriend, AC Bonifacio.
On X, the actor called out the “ridiculous and unnecessary” online attacks AC has faced after her Pinoy Big Brother eviction, including violent comments and even death threats.
“You know all this hate you’re throwing at my girlfriend has become too much and way too violent,” Harvey said on X.
“Making fun of her as if you know the full context of everything that happened inside and outside that house,” he added, refering to the Pinoy Big Brother house.
AC, along with Ashley Ortega, was among the first celebrity duos evicted from the reality show. Since then, she’s been accused online of being “manipulative” and a “backstabber” — claims Harvey strongly refuted.
He praised AC’s courage for confronting fellow housemates and clearing the air, instead of playing it safe or being fake.
“If everything you’re saying about her is true, would anyone in the house still mention her name a month after she got evicted? She was brave enough to confront and be honest to the people she talked to in the house in hopes to clear the air between them—and she did,” Harvey said.
“She was brave and honest in a situation where most would have folded. She’s learning, healing, and reflecting. All this hate is not helping anyone grow,” he added.
Harvey also urged netizens to be more mindful with their words online.
“Pag-isipan niyo po sana muna yung sasabihin ninyo. Just because you hide behind an X account doesn’t mean you won’t face consequences.”
He firmly added, “Shoulda done this earlier but now its just getting ridiculous and unnecessary. Back off.”
