DJ Jellie Aw has formally filed a complaint against fiancé Jam Ignacio, claiming that he physically assaulted her out of jealousy.
A report by News5 on Friday said Jellie sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to track down Jam after the incident.
“Seloso po kasi. Kahit maliit na bagay talagang pinapalaki niya. Kahit po sa work ko, kapag may kumakaway sa akin, nagagalit siya,” Jellie was quoted as saying in the report.
In photos posted by Jellie’s sister, Jo, the disc jockey sustained bruises and wounds on her face after allegedly being beaten up by Jam and locked inside a car on their way home.
Jellied was only able to ask for help when the sensors failed to detect the car’s RFID.
Jellie urged Jam to take responsibility for his actions, stating that the incident caused her trauma.
“Ang message ko lang po sa kanya, madali lang naman magpatawad, pero ‘yung ginawa niya sa akin, hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yun. Iba ‘yung trauma e. Ang hirap matulog. Lagi kong naaalala ‘yung ginawa niya sa akin,” said Jellie.
“Ang gusto ko lang Jam, harapin mo ‘yung ginawa mo sa akin para hindi mo na magawa sa ibang babae.
“Thankful po ako kay God, kasi nakita ko agad ‘yung ugali ni Jam,” she added.
