Julie Anne, alongside fellow actress Kim Domingo, were among the guest celebrities during the Grand Parade event held in Navotas, famously known as the “Fishing Capital of The Philippines”, in celebration of the city’s 119th founding anniversary.
While the event featured colorful street dances and a chance to meet their favorite Kapuso stars, one of the highlights of the event involved Julie Anne’s gamely giving out a “one-of-a-kind” fan service to excited and lucky Navoteños.
Following the city’s anniversary event, videos and photos of the actress-singer being handed with the most random items from citizens and happily giving them back with her autograph went viral online.
Some of these items included mobile phones, basins, frying pans, guitars, laundry baskets, her own calendars, a plastic chair, a baby’s bib, a basketball, and even a bicycle wheel.
Many netizens praised Julie Anne’s approachability and cheerful engagement with the people of Navotas.
