Global fashion icon Heart Evangelista has returned to become a Kapuso through and through as she renewed her contract with GMA Network on Monday.
In a ceremonial contract signing held at GMA Network’s Studio 7, in the early afternoon of Monday, July 29, Heart turned emotional as she renewed her ties with the Kapuso network.
During the event, Heart expressed how grateful she is to GMA Network, thanking its executives for letting her be her true self as a Kapuso.
“When I moved to GMA, I didn’t know what to offer, my bosses say that I bring so much life or all the praises that they would say to me, but when they accepted me and gave me one of my biggest contracts, I hadn’t proven anything and I’m very, very grateful,” Evangelista stated in her speech.
“Whatever I have, I would like to bring back here [GMA Network] because this is where I feel like I truly began being myself,” she added.
“Not just being myself, but they actually gave me wings where I can do whatever I want, so thank you so much to GMA. I am thankful to all of you,” Heart expressed gratitude to the network.
Heart, along with her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero attended the annual GMA Gala 2024 last weekend.
Heart’s most recent Kapuso project was the GMA romantic series “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.”
She also starred in the international 2023 film “The Wedding Hustler” and the Netflix reality show “Bling Empire”.
