Ivana Alawi’s talent manager explains actress’ exit from Batang Quiapo

-

Talent manager Perry Lansigan of PPL Entertainment Group has put to rest rumors surrounding Ivana Alawi’s alleged “attitude problem” on the set of the Kapamilya action series “Batang Quiapo.”

Speaking on DJ Jhaiho’s radio show “Showbiz Sidelines,” Lansigan clarified the situation to address the circulating allegations on social media.

“From the very start…

He added, “Three months ang kanilang napagkasunduan at um-okay si Ivana.

Alawi joined the popular Kapamilya series in August 2023, where she played the role of Bubbles.

She was introduced in the new arc of the action series when her co-star Coco Martin’s Tanggol met Bubbles in a correctional facility, following the death of his love interest, Mokang, played by Lovi Poe.

The chemistry between Alawi and Martin’s characters led to an extension of her role beyond the initially agreed three months.

Despite their pairing’s success, Alawi’s departure is necessary due to her pre-existing commitments, which her management had previously agreed to.
