The Happy Islanders’ bunso is another professional surfer in the making!
Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo’s youngest child, Koa, amused netizens with his surfing skills at three years old.
On Instagram, Philmar shared a reel where their son could be seen riding waves on his own on a shortboard.
“My [three-year-old] son Koa,” Philmar wrote as caption in the video.
“Surfing everyday is what they want na,” the proud dad, who’s been giving Koa and his older sister Lilo surfing lessons, said in an Instagram story.
Andi also expressed pride over their son’s achievement in an Instagram story writing, “So proud of our lil guy!! Finally in the water catching waves on his own now too. Long ones at that! Keep it up Koaboy? and thanks so much to papa!.”
Koa embraced surfing around the same age Lilo began last year. The two are no doubt taking after Philmar who a surfing champion is himself.
With their love for surfing, Philmar and Andi put up their own surf school and snack bar in Siargao in 2022.
