Alden Richards shared his thoughts on his former co-star Kathryn Bernardo, expressing his delight at witnessing her personal and professional growth.
Richards was among the guests at the Bingo Plus Anniversary event on March 2, hosted at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Taguig.
In a quick interview with ABS-CBN News, the actor couldn’t contain his excitement when asked about the fans’ requests regarding a potential sequel to the blockbuster hit, “Hello Love Goodbye,” which starred him and Kapamilya actress.
He went on to express his interest in a sequel, mentioning the importance of waiting for the opportunity to work on the project.
Alden also lauded Kathryn’s current status, noting her refreshing aura and significant growth in life, especially in her career.
“Nakakatuwa na I’m really seeing her parang coming out of her shell, kita mo sa kanya eh. It manifests,” Alden spoke about his former on-screen partner.
He continued, “The photos and videos that we see and the projects that she has been doing really say a lot about her state of mind right now. And the condition of her life right now, she deserves that.”
It is worth noting that Kathryn recently renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network, leading her fans to anticipate her next projects in the future.
When asked if he had already communicated with Kathryn, Alden assured the public that they had maintained their strong friendship over time.
“Nakakamusta naman natin siya, and at the same time naman, yung friendship never naman nawala ever since,” the actor shared with the media.
Alden and Kathryn previously worked together in Hello Love Goodbye back in 2019, where their on-screen chemistry garnered widespread acclaim.
