Actress Kristine Hermosa shared the happy news that she and her husband Oyo Boy Sotto are expecting their sixth child.
The celebrity couple posted a photo featuring Oyo and an ultrasound image, revealing the exciting addition to their growing family.
On her Instagram account, Kristine expressed her gratitude and faith as she made the heartwarming announcement.
“I have never doubted Gods power and faithfulness in my life — I may at times feel discouraged but I always have a strong sense of security that only God gives — I know He’s got our backs all the time,” Kristine began.
The actress candidly admitted that, despite this being her sixth pregnancy, the nerves and excitement still feel like it’s the first time.
“Funny as it may seem, but I still get those butterflies evertime I see double lines on the PT, kahit pa na ang dami na nila, parang laging 1st time,” Kristine shared her reactions to the results.
She went on to share the different overwhelming emotions she experiences at each stage of pregnancy, emphasizing the unique peace and joy that comes from God.
“I’bat ibang level ng overwhelming emotions each stage of every pregnancy. [I]bang level din when you can already see and hear the heartbeat? Iba lang talaga ang peace and joy pag galing kay God???,” expressed Kristine.
She also reflected on how one cannot limit God’s power, expressing her praise for the Lord and acknowledging His plans for her and her expanding family.
“I praise the Lord for whatever plan He has for me and my super growing family after all. He is my creator, my Lord and savior, my provider, my peace & joy, my eternal hope & ultimately my heavenly Father.
“He definitely knows best, and I know how much He loves me and you. Keep on believing!” she concluded in her Instagram post.
The couple’s friends and fellow celebrities quickly flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Kristine’s sister, Kathleen Hermosa-Santos, who had triplets with her husband Miko Santos, humorously exclaimed, “AKO NA NEXT!!! LORD!!!”
Oyo also joined in the celebration, albeit with a touch of humor, commenting on the photo chosen by his wife, “Grabe naman ‘yung picture ko dyan.”
