Following his much talked about breakup with Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla said he’s definitely not ready to be in a new relationship.
The actor, during an interview with TV Patrol’s MJ Felipe, said he is currently choosing self-love over looking for romance.
“Definitely not [ready]. Love for human nature, yun ang hinahanap ko,” the actor answered.
When asked when he will be ready to get into a new relationship, the actor responded by saying he’d like to focus on his career first.
“Ayoko munang isipin ‘yun. Trabaho muna ako. Wala muna akong lovelife,” said Daniel.
The actor, who recently renewed his contract with ABS-CBN and Star Magic, also has no plans for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
During his contract signing, Daniel expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Kathryn whom he was together with for 11 years.
“Hindi ko puwedeng makalimutan si Kathryn. Maraming-maraming salamat, Kathryn, sa ating maraming taon na pinagsamahan,” said Daniel.
“Hindi mawawala sa puso ko ang magaganda nating memories, at ang ating mga adventures at journeys na pinagsamahan. Thank you very much,” he added.
The former reel and real couple announced their split in November last year.
