Former couple and iconic love team Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion stirred up kilig to netizens, especially to their dedicated fanbase, as they gear up for their upcoming reunion concert.
On Wednesday, Oct.25, the “Megastar” shared sneak peeks of their preparations for their upcoming concert “Dear Heart: The Concert”. The reunion project is named after their first film together in 1981 which launched their love team fondly known as “ShaGab”.
On Instagram, Sharon posted a video of them bickering in laughter while promoting their concert scheduled for Friday, October 27, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The two were seen embracing each other, making netizens gush in excitement in the comments section, including their fellow celebrities.
In another video, the pair danced to “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko.” Someone can even be heard teasing the two behind the camera, saying, “Walang bang kiss?”
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN News managed to check in with the two stars during their rehearsal, who both expressed their enthusiasm for their show.
Sharon admitted that there was still lingering awkwardness with her former husband during band rehearsals.
“In the beginning, sobrang naiilang kami. Parang uncomfortable. He couldn’t look at me, I couldn’t look at him. I didn’t know how to interact with him. Kanina lang kami, konting warm up,” the singer-actress said.
In response, Gabby added, “‘Nung nag-umpisa kami sa Dear Heart ganito rin ang feeling.”
On the other hand, Cuneta that her ex-partner during their practice sessions, complimenting him, “I’m very proud of the way Gabby sings now. He has improved so much, now I’m so proud of you.”
