TV personality Yassi Pressman and Filipino-Canadian entrepreneur Jon Semira have taken to social media to officially announce they have now broken up.
In a post uploaded on both of their Instagram accounts on Wednesday, August 16, the couple told the public that their relationship had ended.
“After an amazing run, Yass and I have decided to part ways. We look to move on to our next phase in life in peace and with the support of our family and friends,” the post read.
The two revealed that they had broken for a while now and it was a decision made on both of their ends.
“It’s been a while since the break up. It was a decision made from the both of us, and us only,” clarified the ex-couple.
They also denied the allegations of a third party, saying that their relationship was “beautiful” and had ended on a good note.
“We wish each other the best and will always appreciate what we had. Our relationship was beautiful and we are both coming out better people because of it. We ask that you let us deal with this in private as we move forward from this.”
Yassi went official with their relationship in July 2022, after posting a photo of her kissing Jon during a trip to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The actress is now being linked to Camarines Sur Governor Luis Villafuerte after they shared a moment during Yassi’s hosting stint at the province.
A video of Yassi getting cozy with Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos is also circulating on the internet where they were seen enjoying each other’s company at an intimate after-party last July 24.
