Paolo Contis, who’s currently in a relationship with Yen Santos, recently addressed a question on whether he’s ready to have another baby.
The comedian and Eat Bulaga host revealed during an interview with Ogie Diaz that he’s keen on having everything fixed first before planning on having another kid.
“At the end of the day, natutunan ko, kailangan kong ayusin lahat. Regardless kung happy ending o sad but it has to…basta maayos. Kailangan kong maayos lahat. It will be very unfair kung sabihin kong gusto kong magkaroon ng anak pa,” said Paolo.
The actor, who is father to two girls with ex-wife Lian Paz and one daughter with ex-girlfriend LJ Reyes, said it would be unfair to his children if he would want to have another baby.
“Unfair yun sa bata, na marami akong bagay na hindi ayos. Unfair ‘yun doon sa baby. Unfair yun sa ibang mga bata na, ‘Heto na naman siya’ ‘di ba.
“Siguro bago ako mag-jump into that, everything has to be fixed. Everything, literally, sa mga bata, sa aki, as a person. I want to make sure naI’m stable enough to actually have another,” he added.
The actor-host also reiterated that his greatest fear as a father is being hated on by his estranged kids.
“Ang isang main fear ko is I will never get the opportunity to talk to them. ‘Yun lang naman. I will never ever enter their lives para manggulo. I know what I’ve lost. I know the time. Alam ko yun, pero just to have a decent conversation, that’s all I’m asking.
When asked if he’s reaching out to his kids, Paolo answered: “I tried. Hanggang ‘dun lang.”
