Maureen sparked dating speculations anew after sharing a photo with a mystery man whom she described as “one that makes me feel like i’m the luckiest girl in the world”.
The model-beauty queen turned to Instagram to greet the guy in question on his birthday.
“Happy birthday to the one that makes me feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world,” Maureen wrote as caption alongside a photo of her beaming with a glimpse of the guy.
“Not only because you are kind, patient, understanding with the most beautiful heart and soul but most importantly, because your gentle love teaches me how I can love myself more everyday,” she added.
Maureen’s apparent “soft launch” then left netizens guessing on who she is now dating.
She first hinted at her new romance in a previous TikTok video.
The Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 winner’s last known relationship was with singer-songwriter Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo.
The two, who went public with their romance in 2019, announced their separation in June last year, saying that they ended on good terms.
In a past TikTok video, Maureen opened up about past trauma she experienced in a previous relationship.
“I lost a big part of myself and I’m only now starting to realize who I am and what I want,” she said without naming names.
“In the past, I have sacrificed my beliefs and values. I did things I didn’t like, I enabled behaviors that I didn’t like. I became someone who I dislike and that was because I was so focused on pleasing my partner that I forgot about myself.”
Maureen, nevertheless, said she didn’t regret getting into that relationship, saying she learned so many things from that experience.
