Chantal Videla, or Chanty of K-pop rookie girl group Lapillus, is officially a Kapuso.
The Filipina-Argentinian singer on Friday, November 11, inked a contract with GMA’s talent management arm Sparkle, in the presence of GMA executives and MLD Entertainment CEO and producer Lee Hyoungjin.
“She’s ready to HIT YA! We’re very happy to welcome K-pop star and Lapillus member Chanty Videla to Sparkle,” announced Sparkle on social media.
Chanty was formerly a Star Magic artist before she debuted as a member of Lapillus in June this year.
The six-member group composed of Chanty, Seowon, Yue, Shana, Bessie, and Haeun are currently in the country for a fan meet on November 13 and 14
They recently guested at local radio stations and appeared on Eat Bulaga and Lazada’s 11.11 show.
