Aside from being an “ordinary citizen,” another thing former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno enjoys now is being a first-time grandfather.
Following rumors about his son Joaquin Domagoso welcoming his baby with a non-showbiz girlfriend, Isko confirmed in an interview with Modern Parenting that he is now a “lolo”.
The actor turned politician, who feels proud and cool to be called “lolo,” said that he considers grandparenthood a blessing.
“Isa sa mga blessings ay lolo na ako. Ang pogi ng apo ko,” Isko was quoted as saying as he gushed about his grandson resembling him.
He added, “Siyempre kikiligin ka lalo na kapag kamukha mo. I’m really enjoying it. I’m happy and grateful to God. Of course, I’m happy for Joaquin. Having a child, naturally, will create a certain mindset in terms of priorities.”
After losing the presidential race and ending his term as Manila Mayor, Isko said he’s no able to spend more time with his family, getting together over dinner, and even going on a trip abroad.
It was late June when a blind item online revealed that Joaquin welcomed a baby boy with non-showbiz girlfriend Raffa Castro.
