Just when we thought Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo got all jelly over the sweet pics of his girlfriend Maureen Wroblewitz with her co-star, here comes a bromance photo we didn’t see coming.
American actor Brandon Melo, who is Maureen’s leading man in upcoming romantic comedy film Take Me to Banaue, recently shared a selfie photo of him with JK in a carousel post on his Instagram page.
“Swipe to see @mauwrob interrupt our bromance,” wrote Brandon in the caption as Maureen joined them in the next slide and the three of them were all smiles.
The third slide featured a video of JK, who appeared to have visited Maureen on the set of the film which recently wrapped up its principal photography in Baguio and Banaue, singing his hit song Buwan.
JK earlier gave netizens a good laugh after acting jealous in his reaction to Maureen’s Instagram post containing sweet photos of her with Brandon.
“Sweet niyo naman sana all,” JK jokingly said in the comments section.
Maureen, meanwhile, replied to her beau: “Mas sweet tayo.”
During an interview with The Philippine Star on Sunday, Brandon laughingly reacted to JK’s comment on his pictures with Maureen. The bromance is real as Brandon admitted that he gets along very well with the singer-songwriter.
“I met him while were shooting. We got along very well actually. We were joking back and forth, and talked a lot about the industry and philosophy in general.
“We both started off as actors at a very young age. So we both actually have very similar histories and so we connected on a deep level. So yeah, he’s a really sweet guy.”
Take Me To Banaue is directed by Filipino-American filmmaker Danny Aguilar.
