Dingdong Dantes is happy to share that he and wife Marian Rivera’s daughter Zia has now received her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with her friends.
The actor couldn’t help but share how happy he is that the country is slowly improving from the pandemic that they can slowly expose their little ones to the world again.
“Everything went smoothly, may pa-pizza, balloons, at mascot pa! They really made sure that the whole process will be child-friendly and I think they did a good job!” he recounted the experience.
The dad of two shared that Zia and five of her friends carpooled on the way to the kid-friendly drive-thru vaccination since it was encouraged by the venue to manage traffic on site.
“This might just be a regular fun playday for her but for me, I’m just glad that we’re slowly getting back up as a nation so we can slowly expose our children to the world again,” he said.
Dingdong continued to say that it is a priority for him that his kids have a deeper understanding of what has been happening to the world recently.
“Siyempre bilang tatay at magulang, importante sa akin na magkaroon ng mas malalim na pag unawa ang mga anak ko sa nangyayari sa paligid nila.
“Kahit yung simpleng paglalaro at pagiikot sa iba’t ibang lugar ay napakahalaga. Magandang maraming silang makita, matanong, makausap, at maramdaman,” he ended.
It was in early February when Marian and Dingdong happily shared that their brave girl has finally received her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
On February 7, the government statted its COVID-19 vaccination drive for children aged 5-11.
