Chie Filomeno’s brother Rio was quick to defend his sister after she was nominated for eviction on Pinoy Brother (PBB): Kumunity Season 10’s third nomination night.
On his personal Facebook page, he wrote about how his sister does not deserve the “shallow hate” she has been receiving online.
“My sister is still facing cyber bullying, body shaming and misogyny from nasty people in all different social media platforms with them not knowing who she really is.
“Cyber bullying just became a trend to them to join in the bandwagon of hating someone. All they have is yung mga false accusation nila and napaka unfair ng judgment nila. Ang masama dito KAPWA BABAE pa nagbo-body shame and nag-spread ng misogyny here,” he wrote.
The actress’ nomination turned viral after fellow housemate Madam Inutz’s comments on why she gave Chie two points was praised by some netizens.
“Binibigyan ko ng two points si Chie. Ready na siya, ready na siya umalis ka nga wala naman siyang ginawa. Wala naman siyang maiambag sa bahay kung hindi pagpapaganda,” the online live seller said.
Chie received seven points from the other housemates and is one of the four contestants who are nominated for eviction.
