Both “very happy” in their relationship, Arjo Atayde shared that he and girlfriend Maine Mendoza have already discussed about getting married.
The actor made the revelation in a recent interview with broadcast journalist Julius Babao’s Youtube vlog when asked if he and Maine have plans on settling down in the future.
“Of course, napag-uusapan ‘yan. I’m at the right age, we’re not getting any younger and we’re both very happy, hopefully until we get old.
“Ito na po ‘yun, I think so,” said Arjo.
Arjo also answered in the affirmative when asked if he already found “the one” for him.
Arjo then went on to gush at how Maine is as a partner, describing her as a very loving and sincere person.
“It’s very hard to explain how a person could be unique and the way you see them. But to me, she’s a very loving person. Mabuti ang puso niya, and that’s also very hard to find, yung sincerity po ‘yun ng tao,” Arjo stated.
“I’m overwhelmed with the way I love her and she loves me back. It’s a different understanding. I think I found a best friend, partner,” he added.
Arjo, who is running for congressman in Quezon City’s first districct also shared what Maine thought of his decision to join the politics.
“To be honest, una medyo ano siya…Kasi alam niyang magulo ang mundo ng pulitika. But I gave her my promise to bejave, and walang kalokohan sa loob. My will is just to serve nang tapat at tunay sa mga tao,” he said.
The two would be celebrating third anniversary as a couple in December.
