Andi Eigenmann broke her silence on her ex-boyfriend Albie Casiño’s reaction when asked by a netizen if she had already apologized to him for their past paternal controversy over her firstborn.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News on Thursday, the actress revealed through a social media comment that she has already said sorry for their past issue. A screenshot of the same social media comment has also been circulating online.
“Not that I owe you any sort of explanation, but since you’re the only one that has tagged me in this, I actually already have. (You can ask him that too,)” she said.
“You and the rest of the public are not aware, because I never owed you that apology. I owed that to him. You see, it’s one thing not to have given forgiveness. That’s something I can’t control. But it’s also another thing to say otherwise,” Andi ended.
“I think the fact that I’ve been blessed to have such a wonderful life after everything is enough proof that I’ve grown to become far different from the person I once was.”
On Wednesday, Albie said that Andi has yet to apologize to him. “Hindi pa,” he wrote on his Instagram stories with crying emojis.
In 2011, speculations about the father of Andi’s now eight-year-old daughter Ellie made showbiz headlines.
Andi initially said that then 17-year-old Albie was the father of her daughter. In 2016, it was revealed that the son of former president and Manila mayor Erap Estrada, Jake Ejercito, is the biological father of Ellie.
