Proud husband and father Billy Crawford shared a tender photo of his wife Coleen Garcia breastfeeding their three-day-old firstborn baby Amari in an appreciation post on Sunday.
Calling mother and son as “My Queen and my Prince”, the first-time dad wrote on Instagram how the past few days have been the most life-changing experience of his life.
“First of all I can’t thank God enough for blessing me with my AMAZING wife. I will do anything for you my love. I’m so thankful for what you’ve done and sacrificed and continue to recover from. You are my Queen but I will always remember that God comes first and you’re next! Amari is beautiful gift we got from God. I love both of you so so so much #myeverythings#thankyou,” the 38-year-old singer said.
In a separate Instagram post, Billy happily conceded that their baby boy “looks nothing like me, hahaha, at least he looks like you (Coleen), I’m good!”
Meanwhile, Coleen opened up on how she didn’t expect how hard and challenging it is going through postpartum recovery and breastfeeding at the same time.
“I wish I could be stronger asap and move around better. It’s been a tough few days, but also so incredibly rewarding,” she said in an Instagram story.
The 27-year-old actress also shared how much she appreciates her husband for being “on another level” in taking care of her during her recovery from delivering their baby via home birth on Thursday, Sept. 10.
“I’m at my most vulnerable right now, but you always remind that you what you see is my strength and not my weakness,” she said in another Instagram story showing a pic of Billy.
“I’m so blessed that it’s you I get to do this with. You both make this all more than worth it. Thank you for the never-ending patience, all the words of encouragement and for being so positive through all this.
“I would be so lost without you,” she ended.
