Kapuso artist Heart Evangelista assured her followers that she cancelled all of her Fashion Week trips last January.
“For those of you asking or concerned, I’ve decided last January to cancel all of my fashion week trips for safety reasons. That’s why I was absent during fashion week. I pray for everyone’s safety. God bless us all,” she wrote on Twitter.
The reassurance came as news emerged that Vietnamese socialites Nga Nguyen and Nguyen Hong Nhung tested positive for the coronavirus after their travel to Europe for the season’s Fashion Week shows.
With knowledge of Heart’s penchant for fashion and attending such events, some netizens thought the actress attended the same Fashion Week shows.
The sisters attended the shows by Saint Laurent in Paris and Gucci in Milan, said South China Morning Post. The Saint Laurent show is set up with a select guestlist and is normally attended by 1,000 people.
The jet-setter duo were said to be daughters of a steel magnate.
