Empress Schuck got engaged to her non-showbiz partner on the fifth birthday of their daughter.
The actress on Monday shared photos from the double celebration as Vino Guingona proposed to her during the intimate birthday party of their daughter Athalia.
In a series of Instagram posts, Empress first shared snaps of Athalia’s Frozen-themed birthday party which was attended by a few family members.
“It’s not just Athalia’s birthday anymore but also a new celebration of God’s intention,” wrote Empress.
Empress and Vino, who have been together for five years now, were both captured in tears during the proposal.
She added, “Thank you @vinoguingona for doing it on her birthday and in this special home witnessed by my whole family. Wouldn’t have it any other way.”
It was in 2015 when Empress admitted being pregnant and revealed that then-boyfriend Vino Guingona, who is the grandson of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr., is the father of her child.
