Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose’s latest single under Universal Records just landed at the No. 1 spot of iTunes Philippines all-genre chart.
The newly released song Isang Gabi, produced and written by OPM rock icon Rico Blanco, “explores themes of forbidden love and longing for someone you can’t have.”
The two singers are also featured as cover for Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist.
Julie Anne shared that the “hugot” song is for the ones who have experienced being the third party in a relationship.
“Sobrang legit ‘to na hugot song, masasaktan kayo… We hope you like it,” she said in a video posted by Universal Records.
Julie Anne said that they are excited to share the track to all OPM fans.
The Kapuso singer previously won Favorite Album (Breakthrough) and Favorite Collaboration (Down For Me feat. Fern.) at the 32nd Awit Awards.
Prior to its release, Julie Anne’s new song also topped the pre-order list of iTunes.
