Following the backlash, Shuvee issued an apology to fans. “Sa lahat na po na DonBelle fans, gusto ko pong mag-sorry if I reacted that way. I’m so sorry if I’m always fangirling over Donny… Pero, he’s really just a crush. Wala pong chance na magka-level po kami ni Donny,” stated Shuvee at the sidelines of a presscon for the upcoming horror film, “Huwag Kang Titingin.”
The former PBB Celebrity Collab housemate also encouraged the public to “just spread love” and “be mindful of how you say your comments online.”
“Kasi words can really be painful to somebody,” she added.

Following Shuvee’s apology, Donny spoke out on X while on a short break abroad, urging fans to stop spreading hate and stop pitting people against each other,
“I don’t usually speak up, but I think it’s about time we stop spreading hate and constantly comparing people. There are far more important things happening in our country,” he wrote.
He also reminded fans that celebrities are human too. “I feel like we’ve gotten too comfortable throwing hate online without thinking about how that affects actual human beings who have done nothing wrong. This is for all fandoms. Artists have lives too. It’s gone below the belt. Why did we reach this point?”
Donny then defended Belle directly: “As for Belle, please keep her out of your narratives. She is beautiful, talented, and most importantly, has a great heart. Nothing you say or do will change that.”
He then addressed the misunderstanding regarding Shuvee’s viral video, explaining, “I told Shuvee the videos were going around out of shock, as I went to dinner at first thinking it was just going to be intimate and private. People forget we are all friends in this industry. Why do we keep pitting people against each other?”
Donny also emphasized that he is not about online clout or watching people get bashed. “And to those who think I just enjoy the clout and people getting bashed, you clearly don’t know me. Feel free to leave. There is no space for that here. I am and never was about that.”
He ended his post saying, “Hope everyone’s doing okay despite how horrible our situation is right now in the country. Thank you to those who continue to spread love. Have a blessed Holy Week! Love y’all>”
Meanwhile, Belle posted on her Instagram stories, her own appeal for kindness among fandoms especially during this Lenten week.
She said, “Hi all, I call on everyone to let go of the negativity and hate that’s been going around. There are bigger, more important things that need our attention,” she posted. “Let’s choose kindness, patience and understanding. Wag na po tayong mag-away. Have a blessed Holy Week, everyone!”
