In an exclusive interview with The Philippine STAR, former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Gen11 housemate Jasmine “Jas” Helen Dudley-Scales revealed the real score between her and former PBB Otso alumna Argel Saycon.
“[I’m] close friends with Argel. I’m really grateful that sa oneyear ko or pagpasok ko sa showbiz, I have Argel with me. Side-by-side. Not just inside but also outside,” she happily shared.
“He’s really a person who understands what I’m going through and I’m grateful na nandyan siya para sa akin,” she added.
In the same interview, Jas also looked back on how her PBB stint played a vital role in her career.
“PBB really changed my life for the better. Pero hindi naman mawawala ‘yung cons siguro in everthing we do in life meron talaga siyang pros and cons. That is why we should take risks,” she said.
If she had to enter again inside the PBB house, Jas firmly answered, “I would definitely say yes! It changed my life for the better. Ito na ako ngayon slowly and maturely learning the craft even more and enjoying hosting.”
She also revealed that after her journey at the famous reality show, she did not watch any videos of her inside the house.
“Hindi ako nanunuod ng clips ko. Skini-skip ko talaga if I see myself. I would want to remember PBB how I lived with it,” she noted.
When asked about what public perception she wants to change, she answered being allegedly a “manipulator.”
“Misconception I think [being a] manipulator. That’s really something na tumatak sa people. I think it’s because… in our generation if a woman has a strong personality if a woman knows how to carry herself, knows how to maneuver her way into acruel world, sometimes people take it against you and people think,” she explained.
“We fight for women empowerment. We fight for women equality, but kapwa babe rin naman ang nagbi-bring down sa isa’t isa,” she added.
