Actress Vina Morales took to social media to remind everyone to be vigilant after losing her cellphone to a snatcher while inside her car along EDSA.
On Friday, Vina shared via an Instagram post about the phone snatching incident that she experienced for the first time.
“Ngayon ko lang po naranasan eto, may nag-snatch ng phone ko sa loob ng kotse ko habang gamit ko po, naiwan ko pong bukas ang window habang nasa EDSA,” said Vina, adding that there were security cameras installed in the area where the theft happened.
The 44-year-old actress said that she decided to chase after the thief, and fortunately met someone who claimed he knew something about the incident.
Police officers then came to the scene and suggested filing a report at the police station which Vina declined doing due to COVID-19 concerns
“Telepono lang naman yun pero nakakalungkot kasi bakit may mga ganung tao,” said Vina.
She went on to express her thanks to the persons who have helped her and reminded everyone to always be mindful of things.
“Salamat po sa mga taong tumulong sa akin. Etong message ko just letting you know na mag-ingat po tayo. Bahala na po ang Diyos sa kanya,” she wrote.
Fellow celebrities, meanwhile, expressed concern for the actress.
