ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic launched on Monday a music video showing its artists and employees coming together to support ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.
Yeng Constantino sang to the revised edition of her 2007 hit single Hawak Kamay, along with other Star Magic artists Sam Milby, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, AC Bonifacio, Elmo Magalona, Sue Ramirez, Vivoree Esclito, Inigo Pascual, Eric Santos, Nyoy Volante, Klarisse de Guzman, KZ Tandingan and Jona.
The video uploaded on YouTube was accompanied with the hashtags #StarMagicStandswithABSCBN, #InTheServiceoftheFilipino and #HawakKamay.
“Sama-sama sa iisang hangarin ng pagmamahal at paglilingkod. Hawak Kamay mga Kapamilya!” wrote Star Magic in its description.
The video showed staff and employees of the Kapamilya network airing their sentiments should the broadcast company not be given a chance to renew its legislative franchise.
Other Star Magic artists like Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Maymay Entrata, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano can be seen interacting with Kapamilya staff and employees.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the talent management shared a collage of Star Magic artists wearing ribbons of ABS-CBN’s logo colors.
The Kapamilya’s network’s franchise is set to expire on May 4, 2020.
